Are you looking for a place that offers fresh produce, delectable baked goods, and homemade crafts?
Then head to the Four Mile Run Farmers and Artisans Market.
It’s open Sundays year-round and is an easy drive from our Forestville, MD apartments.
All of the proceeds benefit the Four Mile Run Park, and vendors include:
Raynes Natural Beauty
When Robbin Jones decided to make beauty products with ingredients she could pronounce, Raynes Natural Beauty was born. The company began as a hobby before becoming a full-time business. Robbin is constantly discovering and innovating and strives to improve the lives of others. She only uses high-quality products that are all-natural and cruelty-free. The selection includes body butter, facial scrubs, and foam hand soap.
Shoppers at the market will also find her homemade candles with choices including peach and cherry blossom.
Number 1 Sons
Number 1 Sons is owned by the brother and sister team of Caitlin and Yi Wah. The company was born after he had a late night pickle-making session with friends. Yi Wah quit his restaurant job and enlisted Caitlin’s help. The duo draws from many different cultures, and their barrels change with the seasons and culinary inspiration. Offerings include pickles, Stinkin’ Rye Kraut, and snow miso kimchi.
Captain Xan’s calls Bristol Bay home and offers wild Alaskan salmon from the “most sustainable fishery on Earth.” The fish is flash frozen and never thawed which helps maintain taste and firmness.
Stop by the booth of Beyond Woodwork to find a gift for that hard-to-buy-for someone. The company creates intricately carved collapsible baskets in a variety of shapes and sizes.
